Terrell High School senior Dustin Jackson was named second-team all-area by the Dallas Morning News.
Jackson went 8-2 with a 0.71 Earned Run Average as the Tigers finished 17-14, advancing to the state playoffs for the first time in more than a decade. He also hit .348 with eight doubles and 26 RBI.
